MAN INNOVATIVE ENCAPSULATED SYSTEM OF CHAINS REDUCES TO THE MAXIMUM THE EMISSION OF PARTICLES DURING UNLOADING, HANDLING AND TRANSPORT OPERATIONS.
ore than 30 equipments aspire and control immission and a complex net of filters situated in each point of transference guarantees that not even PM10 particles can escape the facilities, protecting population healthn.
The design and construction of the terminal has revolved around complying with law regarding air quality. All systems and equipments have tools to filter and confine powder produced in loading, unloading and handling of solid agribulk commodities in the Terminal.
The Terminal’s Environmental policy during the running period, is very demanding regarding the compliance with the applicable rules in all inherent to facilities, own personnel, suppliers and customers.
TASA’s facilities implemented with the aim of contention and/or reduction of particles release, are divided in two groups: physical containment and screening.
Physical containment consists of covered conveyor belts, enclosed galleries, etc, that keep released particles inside.
Screening has been performed in those points where the process makes no feasible an efficient closing; in each of these points there are filters. These filters guarantee that the air processed by them is released to the atmosphere in compliance with the existing regulatory framework regarding particles concentration.
Since all the bulk transport is performed in enclosed installations, and the trucks and rail wagons that pick up the product from the terminal must be duly closed and fit with an owning. There is no source of wide-spread dust release.
